Not all fear is bad fear. There is a fear you may feel that may be a gift from the Holy Spirit of God to lead you to a place of safety and protection. Don’t be naive about warnings from the Holy Spirit of God.
Assumptions can be very wrong. We have to ask God to show us the truth about all people and whom we can really trust with our personal life and allow into our homes. Don’t be naive.
Jesus knew the heart, character, and motive of every person He met during His earthly life. Jesus still knows the heart, character, and intentions of every person. It is by His Spirit that He will reveal that to us when we ask Him to do so.
If you have a check in your spirit or even a small warning, do not ignore it. Ask the LORD for discernment and do not wait for a crisis to believe.
Listen to the Lord and heed warnings from the people God sends. Just because someone appears nice does not mean that person is a sane or good person.
Anytime we choose to ignore warnings from God, we get to experience it.
Remember the story of Esther! Remember Haman and how he wanted to destroy the Jewish people. Don’t be deceived. I pray God gives you discernment and wisdom today!
Stay close to the Lord and you will always hear His voice speaking to your heart. Pray before you make decisions. Thank God in advance for His divine protection, His promptings, and His warnings. (Read Proverbs 4:6-7; Job 12:12; Job 28:28; Psalm 37:30; Psalm 107:43; Proverbs 1:7; Proverbs 3:7; Proverbs 10:13; and many others.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5 NIV).

NEVER GIVE UP! Pray and believe God!
Don’t allow wrong focus or discouragement to get the best of you. Discipline your mind to stay on God and His Truth—no matter what is going on around you.
Daniel fasted and prayed for three full weeks because of the terrible state of Jerusalem (see Daniel 10:2-3). Finally, an angelic being appeared to Daniel and caused him to fear. The angel said: “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. (Daniel 10:12-13).
Just as Daniel’s prayer was heard, our prayers are heard too. There was a spiritual battle raging–that delayed God’s answer. It is obvious there is a spiritual battle raging across the globe.
This account in scripture illustrates clearly how prayer and fasting can change the outcome of situations on earth, but even when we don’t yet see answers and things may appear worse, we can trust that God is still working on our behalf WHEN we are surrendered to Him.
Look at what Jesus said, “He who is of God hears God’s words” (John 8:47). Great news today! When we ARE SURRENDERED TO GOD, we hear Him when He speaks to our heart.
We need the power of God. We need to hear from Him…not man’s opinions. Don’t rely on your own efforts–rely on God’s power.
Prayer: “Father, keep me from assuming anything by neglecting to take everything to You in prayer. I want to hear the truth from You. Help me to follow the leading of Your Holy Spirit and not be led by my flesh–mind, will and emotions. Produce in me the fruit of Your Spirit–fill me with Your love, peace, and joy so that I may be more like You. Help me to be kind, patient, and good to others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

REAL LIFE HAPPENS …BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL
Real life happens, even when you least expect it. The news of a friend or loved one passing from this life to eternity, abandonment, bankruptcy, betrayal, criticism, depression, devastation, divorce, emotional attacks, financial struggles, friends acting crazy, heart surgery, kids having issues, the news of cancer or some other medical report, spouse lost his job, a family member committed suicide, having to move to another state, to extreme loss…real life comes to all. God wants YOU and I to learn how to pray His Word back to Him, to connect His Word to real life and current events, and to reach out to encourage one another.
There is power in unity and the enemy knows it. God wants you set free and prospering in every area of your life…even as your soul prospers (3 John 2). God wants you to get His Word inside of you till it becomes part of the very fabric of your being. So that when real life happens, the first thing that rises up is faith and the Word of God.
Choose today…to connect with a bible believing, faith based church….and allow God to move in your life. Connect with other believers who are seeking God’s face! Surrender to the Holy Spirit of God. Choose God’s Will, His way, and His timing. He wants to bless you! God is faithful!
