REPENT and PRAY
Pray for the President of the United States, for those in power, as commanded by God in His Word. (1 Timothy 2:1-4). Pray for leaders in government that we may lead a quiet life, godly and dignified. It is pleasing to God. Help us to carry out your instruction according to Your Word.
God’s Word commands us to pray for those in authority. Repent for speaking death, gossip, and unbelief and PRAY for the leaders of America.
We pray:
Almighty God, Creator of all things and Ruler of the nations, we look to You today as the ultimate source of peace and authority. Your Word reminds us that You set up leaders and guide the course of history. We acknowledge that no human power or strategy is greater than Your sovereign will.
Lord, we remember Your historic faithfulness to America. Through seasons of deep division, economic trial, and global warfare, You have consistently sustained this nation. We thank You for the liberties we enjoy and for the times You have brought unity out of chaos. We look to You today knowing You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.
We come before You with humble hearts, recognizing the immense weight of the decisions facing our nation. We confess that human intellect and political strategy are not enough to navigate the complex threats facing our world today. We ask for Your mercy over America, and we strip away all pride, acknowledging that our true security comes from You alone.
Lord, we lift up President Trump to You. We ask that You grant him supernatural wisdom, clarity of mind, and sound judgment as he leads. In moments of high-stakes decisions regarding national security and global conflict, guide his steps and thoughts.
Surround President Trump, his Cabinet, and military advisors with counselors of integrity, truth, and insight. Give them the discernment to see through deception and the courage to make choices that preserve life and liberty.
We pray for the protection of our service members and citizens. Give our leaders the resolve to restrain aggression, protect the vulnerable, and aggressively pursue pathways to swift, lasting peace.
We pray for the American people. Heal our deep divisions, renew a spirit of unity, and help us to live peaceful, quiet, and godly lives.
Lord, we do not place our ultimate trust in military might, economic strength, or political parties. As King David declared, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Our eyes are fixed on You. We commit President Trump, our leaders, and the future of America into Your hands.
In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Pray, praise, and worship Jesus–the Living God!
HIS love and mine,
Deborah
