OUR WORLD NEEDS TO SEE JESUS!

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

Our world needs to see Jesus in us!

God’s two greatest commandments are to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. It’s impossible to have one without the other. To show love for God includes showing a genuine love for those who have been created in His image—no matter what color, creed, race, or nationality.

If we are truly walking with God with Him leading the way, we find that our love for God deepens as well as our love for people—even those who don’t necessarily look like us or sound like us and may have varying opinions in life.

“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:1-2).

When Jesus comes into a life, He changes everything. When you have been born-again from above, your address changes for where you will spend eternity. In Philippians 3:20, Paul declared that all believers are citizens of heaven and ought to live worthy of their new address. He also encouraged the Christians he was writing in the City of Colossae to walk in wisdom toward those who were outside the faith. In that way people could see and hear about the changes (see Colossians 4:5-6).

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, tell someone about your change of address. Tell the world about Jesus—He is coming back for His own!

HIS love and mine,

Deborah

THE GREATEST NEED

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

The greatest need in the life of every believer is to be able to hear and understand the voice of God from within the spirit man. Scripture teaches us that the Holy Spirit indwells every born-again Christian. God’s divine purpose is to accomplish His perfect will through every believer. God has a sovereign plan which begins at the moment of salvation. This plan is the continuing ministry of Jesus Christ in and through each believer.

It is imperative that the people of God hear His voice so that His plan and purpose can be revealed. God’s Word states, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge,” (Hosea 4:6). Therefore, it is vital that each of us, as believers in Jesus Christ, understand and obey His direction. I have learned over many years of ministry that many Christians are not able to comprehend the voice of God. John 10:27 confirms, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow Me.” Amen!

Believers everywhere need to learn how to hear God’s voice. Let’s look at God’s word for wisdom and insight on how to hear His Voice and how to obey Him. Success according to God’s standard may not seem successful in the eyes of the world system—the secular society.

God’s will is not something we find—the will of God finds us as we surrender, trust and obey His leading. The will of God, according to Romans 12:1-2, is good, perfect, and acceptable. It is really what we would choose for ourselves—if we had enough sense to choose it. God’s ways are best. We are free to choose as we wish, but we are not free to choose the consequences to our choices.

Do you want to know God’s will clearly? The will of God is the mind of Jesus Christ acting within and through the believer at the level of his conscious understanding. In order to hear consistently from the Great Shepherd, we must live in constant pursuit of Jesus Christ. We must stay close to the Shepherd. When we study the Word, we grasp that God is light. As we each abandon ourselves to Him, we discover that in us, this light travels a pre-planned path as the daily will of God is worked out in and through our lives. It is the most exciting way to live—following Christ fully.

Share the BLESSED HOPE today—tell the world about Jesus. People are desperate for Jesus, whether they know it or not. His love and mine–DeborahCrossTour_Logo_2C_TM_without tag

Remember all God has done and rise up by faith!

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

“Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17).

God promises to work for good for His trusting ones. He promises to work all things out for our good and His glory. You may be struggling with a cancer diagnosis to a relationship struggle, to  living at a high-stress level due to kids in college, health issues, and having balance in life with all the responsibilities of family and business….but GOD is faithful!

Instead of focusing on problems—fix your eyes on the problem solver—JESUS. Know that God really loves you—He loves me—and He is constantly at work for our good and His glory. By faith we cling to God’s promise of Romans 8:28. Take time to refocus and recall that “our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Remember all God has done and rise up by faith!

God loves us with an everlasting love and He is preparing us for the day when skies will be blue forever. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1) and until He calls us home by death or rapture, we run with the Good News….telling the world about Jesus!

Share the Blessed Hope you have with someone today!

You are greatly loved!

His love and mine,

Deborah
