SPEAK LIFE INSTEAD OF SLANDERING
I would dare to say that the tongue is probably the biggest problem for most people. I would like to call you to heed God’s Word and to spend eternity with Him, and to make certain of your salvation.
It’s imperative to stop slandering others because speaking evil against another is the product of sinful condemnation, because evil words and sinful condemnations violate the heart of the law. Persisting in evil words and sinful condemnation is to condemn the law of God, because condemning the law of God is to place yourself above God, and all of these things lead to destruction in this life and the one to come unless you genuinely repent.
Speak life and speak good things toward one another. The Bible is filled with all kinds of reasons not to slander, but it is also filled with incentives to speak words of encouragement and life. One word of encouragement can change a person’s life. It can keep someone from suicide. It can give someone hope to make it another day and to fulfill their God-given destiny.
Instead of slandering, let us be a church characterized by our words of encouragement and life. Let’s commit ourselves to identify evidences of grace in those we might otherwise be tempted to speak against, speak life instead, and pray for them. Let’s work to recognize the manifestations of the image and goodness of God in one another and talk continually about those things, rather than whatever lingering effects of the fall in the Garden of Eden remain in us. Let’s commit to living aligned with God’s Word and pointing people to Jesus!
Remember this, God sees us, not in our sin, but in Christ. Because of Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross, victorious resurrection, and glorious ascension, we have been united with Jesus when we place our faith in Him. Our identity is no longer in our sin, but in Christ’s righteousness. Let’s look at other people the way God sees them….Love God, love people and live to know God and make Him known. Tell the world about Jesus today! God loves you!

LEARN TO WALK WITH THE LORD
2 Peter 1:20-21 highlights that prophecy does not originate from human will but from God, as men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
“Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.” (2 Peter 1:20-21 NLT)
Learn to walk with the LORD and to have intimate relationship with Him through spending time in His Word, and communing with Him all through the day. There is incredible blessing in knowing God, knowing the truth of His Word, and hearing His Voice. The real test of walking with God is obedience. The blessing of knowing God is reserved for all who will seek Him with their whole heart, mind, body and soul. That blessing is available to those who are after a relationship and not just the benefits of that relationship.
God speaks through parables, types and shadows and symbols as a way to illustrate and reveal what He is saying. Only those people who are close to Him and listening and willing to pursue Him, will hear the sermon within the story and see the picture within an illustration. It’s a gift to walk with God—where we get to see and know what the Father is wanting and leading us to do. (see Matthew 13:13)
Seek the Lord with your whole heart, mind, and soul. Live like Jesus may come today!

RAISE YOUR CHILDREN UP TO KNOW GOD
Raise your children to know God….
Raise your children to know God, to love God’s Word—the Bible because the more you read the Word of God, the more you will fall in love with JESUS. Do not allow this world system to deceive you or the things of the world to choke you. It doesn’t matter how great a college degree you provide for your children to the career path they choose, or how successful they are in the world’s eyes—true success is raising your family to know God, spend eternity with Him, and to live in divine purpose here on earth.
Read the Bible like your life depends on it…and soon you will understand that is does. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, and soul. The life of Jesus is the only life that matters, for this life on earth is passing away. Do not allow the desires of this world and the spirit of deception to ruin your soul. It is written, “Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me” (Deuteronomy 4:10). It’s vital to eternal life.
Share your stories of God’s faithfulness with those around you and the next generation. Write them down for generations to come. Remembering all God has done and is doing will build your faith. God’s faithfulness is stitched all through Scripture to give us hope today. Share your stories of God’s faithfulness, how HE has brought you through the valleys to the mountaintops.
Take people down memory lane by telling them about the goodness of God and how He has taken you through some of the hardest times, from the fiery trials to the heart ablaze where God is speaking to you in a still small voice. From the perseverance to overcoming through victory in Christ, we must share our stories of God’s faithfulness. No matter if we are struggling or celebrating, it is only God’s amazing love, His Holy Presence, and His amazing grace that are sufficient.
Listen to faith-filled messages and take your family to the house of God to hear the WORD preached, where the pastor preaches the whole counsel of God. Listen, let it sink deep within, fall in love with Jesus, and you will obey His Word. For one day soon, Jesus will return in the clouds for His own. It will be the greatest day of love in the clouds known to mankind for those that know Jesus—but for those that don’t, it will be horrific. Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!
Where will you and your family spend eternity?
When my time on earth is through, I will forever be with YOU, Jesus.
Tell the world about Jesus and fall in love with Him more everyday!
HIS love and mine,
Deborah
