TELL THE WORLD ABOUT JESUS
The Bible is unfolding before our very eyes! Time is running out as we know it and one day soon, Jesus will appear in the clouds to call His church home. Until then, we are called to follow the examples of Jesus. Jesus gave us what is called the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20): “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Jesus gave this command to the apostles not long before he ascended to heaven. It is still our calling to follow in His absence and do the same —tell the world about Jesus.
Once we share the Good News about Jesus Christ, we are called to “make disciples.” The instructions to “go,” “baptize,” and “teach” are indirect commands and the “how” to make disciples. “Make disciples” is the primary command of the Great Commission. The “going”, “baptizing,” and “teaching” are the means by which we fulfill Jesus’ great command.Love God with all your heart and mind and soul, and love people enough to tell them about Jesus!

Arise, Shine & Tell the World About Jesus
You were created with divine purpose by God “for such a time as this” to arise and shine and to go forth telling the people in your sphere of influence about the hope you have in Christ Jesus. If you don’t tell them, how else will they know? Choose to live with eternity in mind and think about souls.
The world we live in today has changed drastically and is nothing like many of us encountered in our youth. We are witnessing the demise of a nation through four categories of immorality before our eyes that Paul lists for Timothy. Exaltation of self, rejection of authority, rejection of moral standards, and vicious and unloving. We are living in a world that is clearly the end times.
Live like Jesus may come today and lift up the Name of Jesus by being the hands and feet of our loving Savior to a lost and dying world around us. Godly people ought not be haughty nor proud, but bold and confident in Christ. Exalt Christ and “Be clothed with humility” (1 Peter 5:5). It’s a choice to walk in humility because the flesh will try to rise up because of our sin nature. We must make a choice to allow God to do a work in us so we can be used by Him in the lives of people around us.
Every day you get out of bed, make the decision to put on humility and walk in it the remainder of each day. Once you are born-again through the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ through the finished work on the Cross, your life isn’t about you anymore–it’s about Jesus. When you let this truth sink in, your life will change.
Knowing God and making Him known ought to be our life goal. Submit to God’s authority and walk in the power He provided. Raise the standard – the Word of God – and live by God’s principles. Love people through speaking the truth in love–even if you have to love some from a distance.
Live for God, not this world. Put Jesus first–no matter what! Surround yourself with other believers of strong faith and spur each other onward in Christ. The writer of Hebrews says, “Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Make sure you have come to know Jesus because the hour is late and eternity is forever. Learn to walk with Him and tell everyone you know He is coming back soon!

Deborah
SEEING JESUS FACE-TO-FACE
“Now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.”
— 1 CORINTHIANS 13:12
As we take time to study the Word of God, the Holy Spirit gives us eyes to see Jesus, the “image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15). However, even as our vision is cleared by the Spirit of God and as we grow in knowledge through Scripture, we can still only see a glimpse of God’s infinite immensity here on earth.
No one knows the day or hour they will leave this earth, through rapture or death, or when Jesus fulfills His promise to return, but one thing for sure is this—we will see Him clearly as it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:12.
When we see Jesus Christ face-to-face and know Him as He knows each of us, the beloved family of God—the members of the body of Christ—the church—it will be a glorious day. The Holy Spirit will infuse us with faith, hope, and the love we need to stand firm until we gaze into the eyes of our living and loving Savior and say, “I can see You, Jesus.”
Take time to study the Word of God. Pray and meditate and memorize passages from the Bible. You will need to use the Word of God the way Jesus did in the wilderness before this life is over.
REFLECTION AND HEART CHECK:
What particular passage has the Holy Spirit illuminated to you recently? What has the Holy Spirit revealed to you? How has your growth in the knowledge of God and His Holy Word changed you?
Let us pray: Dear Jesus, help me to see clearly; to see You more clearly and know You intimately as I walk with You through this life. Increase my faith until the day You call me home or come again. Make me so such like You Lord that no one can resist You in me. Help me to walk in Your Love and to live each day watching for Your return.
READ YOUR BIBLE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!
You are extravagantly loved by God!
HIS love and mine,
Deborah
