It is a joy to see Deborah thriving in her abilities and giftedness as she communicates hope to everyone she meets.  I have known Deborah and Dan Starczewski for nine years and they are faithful to the call of Christ on their lives. She teaches weekly at our home church, Concord First Assembly in Concord, NC and infuses people with faith and holy boldness.

When I met Deborah eleven years ago, little did I know just how profound her influence would be in my life. With the exception of my mom, no woman has moved the direction of my life toward the Lord more significantly than this dear friend. 
 
As a result of obedience in the midst of her experiences, I believe God has filled Deborah with wisdom that we would all do well to take to heart. 

I have had the privilege of watching one of God’s greatest servants lead by example. Being obedient to God’s call, she has displayed the fruit of a truly spirit-filled life. He sent her to my office for medical care. At least, that’s what I thought. I came to realize that as with so many others, God sent Deborah to minister to me. As the years unfolded, time and time again I saw her speak into my life and into the lives of others either wisdom from the Word or a direct revelation from His heart to ours. When we listened we were blessed, and when we did not, God made it clear the consequences of disobedience.
 
Without a doubt, knowing Deborah has been one of the most supernatural experiences of my life. From the interpretations of dreams, to the decision to marry, from direction in my career, to long-distance travel, the Lord has used her to confirm what I already knew and at times turn me around when I refused to follow Him. I thank God for her obedience and her presence through these years, for had she not listened to the Lord she would have never called to warn of upcoming events in my life, or interpret dreams that unfolded just as she said. Through the practice of her faith, she has allowed me to see that God does indeed care intimately about what happens in all of our lives. What a delightful journey it has been.

In her first book, God’s Price Treasure, you find the wisdom of one tried by fire and who has earned the right to speak because of her obedience and devotion to the God of creation. I encourage you to read every word and let them warm your heart as they have mine. Deborah’s second book, A LEAP OF FAITH, will open your eyes to the details of God’s divine intervention on many levels. HE is using Deborah to teach people to run to Jesus and to the Mercy Seat daily. I am again amazed at the level of “miraculous coincidence” that occurs in this woman’s life and in those for whom she cares. I believe God is using her to help lead others into this favor the Lord wants for all of us as we choose to obey His Word.  

To my dearest friend I say thank you for your service and for imparting these precious words of wisdom to us all and for teaching us to take a leap of faith and dare to trust God in every situation. I can never repay you for what you have done in my life through your service to Him.
