GodsPricelessTreasure_CropAlmost every parent would agree that his or her child is the most precious thing in the world, and that is how God views you. God has greater plans for you than you have for yourself. He expects each and every believer to grow up and mature in the things of God. He desires the best for you and wants you to move from drama to destiny, from pain to purpose, from tragedy to triumph, and from trials to testimonies of the goodness of God.

God expects each of us to show honor and respect. What America must realize is that the enemy uses the same tactics as he did with the Israelites to bring destruction. They grew tired of their leader and made a golden calf to worship. They experienced hunger and thirst in the desert. They grumbled and complained about everything. People fall for the same traps today. Materialism, entertainment, and social distractions are also a part of Satan’s scheme to trap and lure the youth of this generation away from God, away from family, and away from God’s best.

We must choose honor everyday. This happens when godly order starts in the home. God first, husband, wife, then the children in the home. Real communication, discipline, and training to respect those in authority starts in the home. We must cultivate a place of honor and respect in our homes in order that the next generation will know what it looks like. We must choose to cultivate a heart after God and keep childlike faith in Him. He wants to move heaven and earth to bring answers to prayers.

The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He seeks to isolate us and make us feel all alone. The sense of excitement that the God of the universe loves us is the only satisfaction that will sustain, overwhelm, and amaze us to the point of propelling us to do greater things with God, in the way of career, and to point others to Jesus. We must keep our hearts and minds turned toward the Lord at all times. God wants us to live with eternity in mind.

When Jesus is not the focus, He is no longer the influence. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

The Holy Spirit reveals ALL hidden truth, and shows us things to come. God will show you things that can’t be seen with the natural eye when you choose to keep your focus on Him and what He is doing in the earth.

God’s Priceless Treasure is packed full of the Word of God with time tested principles and real testimonies that will encourage you and inspire you to seek God more, and to take time for what matters most in this life.

THE POWER OF PRAYER CHANGES EVERYTHING…

Written by Deborah. Posted in Desire of your heart, Intercession, Kings and Presidents, Loss of a loved one, Love, Love people, Motive, Obedience, Prayer, Uncategorized

IMG_6898God wants to use you to bring heaven to earth on behalf of someone else. We have help from the Helper—the Holy Spirit. What a comfort for our prayer life we find in Romans 8:26-27. Many times, especially when we are burdened with someone’s need, we aren’t exactly sure how to pray. But the Holy Spirit comes to our aid. He may give a scripture to meditate on, or reveal with a dream, sign, or in any way He sees fit.

With our limited knowledge we may not have any idea how or what to pray for a situation; but God’s Holy Spirit steps in and prays for us and through us—always in harmony with God’s perfect will. He knows exactly how to get our attention….and when our ears are tuned in to hear His Voice, we will know what is on the Father’s heart. This is the way Jesus lived here on earth.

If you are called to be an intercessor, you will be one who identifies with others. You won’t snub your nose in the air, think negative thoughts within, or blast people out for prideful reasons. You won’t automatically assign motive or heart intent and criticize. You have a heart that is tender to people.

Intercessory prayer moves one to cry out from the innermost depths of the heart with tears for someone else. The apostle Paul says, “the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express” (Romans 8:26 NIV). Jesus identifies with us and reached the deepest agony at Gethsemane. Jesus prayed with “loud cries and tears” as written by the author of Hebrews (5:7 NIV).

Jesus was numbered with His transgressors and identified with all people through experiencing everything we would ever experience here on earth. Jesus epitomized lasting love. He identifies with us in every situation and on every point.

When we are moved by identifying with others, praying with deep cries from our heart and tears, and stand in our God-given authority, we move the heart of God. Our intercessory prayers move God and causes Him to change His mind.

Pray and then get up and go out to be a great encourager, not a critic. Pray for our leaders. Pray for your pastor. Pray for their strength, their family, and ministry. Get rid of evil obstacles such as envy, greed, lust, malice, prejudice, and lies—all of which Satan uses to destroy the power of our prayers. Realize that if it had not been for the Lord, well, need I say more.

Amazing victory is ours when we pray. The world in which we live needs love. God uses ordinary people to be vessels of hope and encouragement, and to move mountains through prayer. Listen for and obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Divine influence in personal lives and world events are not brought about by achievement, manipulation, prestige, control, or power, but upon humble and utter dependence upon Jesus Christ Himself. The Spirit of God will awaken you to a whole new level of extraordinary prayer as you obey His promptings and pray until you sense release.

I remember many years ago hearing the phone ring in our home only two times before I could get to it at 3 AM in the morning.  I saw the name that appeared on the caller I.D. and knew it was one of the staff at our home church, but was not a number I recognized. I got up to pray, sensing in my heart and spirit that it was God moving me to prayer for the person with that name.

The next morning, I called the church to inquire from this couple and learned that at the same time the Holy Spirit used the telephone ringing in our home to get my attention, the husband’s father (with the same name) was being taken by ambulance to the hospital with heart attack symptoms. She shared the story and told me he was going to live…that he had made it through. You can see how God gets our attention in natural ways. The Holy Spirit unveils Heaven’s agenda to us when we are open, aware, and expecting God to speak to us at all times. We live with eternity in mind and are increasingly aware of His Holy Presence. We don’t have to understand all the details…but simply obey the leading of the Holy Spirit.

You never know what someone else is walking through. Don’t ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Stop and pray….your prayers dispatch Heaven’s angels from the throne room of God to bring answer to prayers. (Psalm 103:20).

People are in despair and wondering what on earth is going on in the world in which we live. I heard a mother’s message yesterday at her own son’s funeral. He had taken his own life. He left behind heartbreak, confusion, and distress. Suicide is a permanent choice to a temporary situation. Life is a precious gift from God. Talk to people and take time to listen with your heart. Encourage people…life is short..eternity is forever.

“The Father who knows all hearts” (Romans 8:27) can use us to make a difference in the lives of those we pray for—even when we don’t know “how” we ought to pray.

Prayer is a gift from God! We are able to partner with the Holy Spirit, cooperate with Him, and see the Kingdom of heaven released here on earth! The sweet Presence of God within us brings hope and reformation to the world around us—encountering a loving Heavenly Father.

HIS love and mine,

Deborah

FullSizeRenderYour personal confession broadcasts your real character and sets the course of your life. (See James 3:6) Watch what you allow to come out of your own mouth. Choose to decree what God says in His Word. Be careful not to judge others…because there is always something you don’t know in every situation. Speak God’s Word and stay in alignment with Him!

Print this off or save it, and choose to pray it daily out of your own mouth. Watch God move on your behalf.

CONFESSIONS:

Jesus is Lord over my spirit, my soul, and my body. (Phil. 2:9-11).

Jesus has been made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. (1 Corinthians 1:30, Phil. 4:13).

The Lord is my shepherd, I do not want. My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Psalm 23; Phil. 4:19).

I do not fret or have anxiety about anything. I do not have a care. (Phil. 4:6; 1 Peter 5:6,7)

I am the Body of Christ. I am redeemed from the curse, because Jesus bore my sicknesses and carried my diseases in His own body. By His stripes I am healed. I forbid any sickness or disease to operate in my body. Every organ, every tissue of my body functions in the perfection in which God created it to function. I honor God and bring glory to Him in my body. (Gal. 3:13; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2;24, 1 Cor. 6:20).

I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of His heart. (1 Corinthians. 2:16).

I am a believer and not a doubter. I hold fast to my confession of faith. I decide to walk by faith and practice faith. My faith comes from hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Jesus is the author and the developer of my faith. (Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 11:6; Rom. 10:17; Hebrews 12:2).

The love of God has been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit and His love abides in me richly. I keep myself in the Kingdom of light, in love, in the Word, and the wicked one touches me NOT. (Rom. 5:5, 1 John 4:16, 1 John 5:18).

I tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. I take my shield of faith and quench every fiery dart. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. (Psalm 91:13; Ephesians 6:16; 1 John 4:4)

I am delivered from this present evil world. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I reside in the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Gal. 1:4; Eph. 2:6; Col. 1:13; Rom. 8:2)

I fear NOT for God has given me a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind. God is on my side. (2 Tim. 1:7; Rom. 8:31).

I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. I hear my Father’s voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I roll my works upon the Lord. I commit and trust them wholly to Him. He will cause my thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall my plans be established and succeed. (John 10:27; Proverbs 16:3).

I am a world overcomer because I am born of God. I represent the Father and Jesus well. I am a useful member in the Body of Christ. I am His workmanship recreated in Christ Jesus. My Father God is all the while effectually at work in me both to will and do His good pleasure. (1 John 5:4,5; Eph. 2:10; Phil. 2:13).

I let the Word dwell in me richly. He Who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Christ. (Col. 3:16; Phil. 1:6).

I thank God He is frustrating all evil plots and ungodly counsel in every area of my life, and over the nation. He goes before me to make every crooked place straight. The Holy Spirit reveals all hidden truth and shows me things to come.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Psalm 103:20 reveals that angels obey the voice of God. Pray His Word and expect intervention.

Blessings,

Deborah
