God’s Favor
One of the principles of the Kingdom of God is that God favors those who are just (Proverbs 12:2). God has promised victory and will bring good out of even the most difficult situations as we learn to trust Him with childlike faith. He has also promised to meet our most pressing needs.
Jesus said that He came that we might have a meaningful, purposeful, abundant life (John 10:10). God’s favor is “yes” and “amen” in every promise of His Word.
What Scripture Says
“But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and truth” (Psalm 86:15).
“So Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for assuredly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be
Grief
At some time or other we will all suffer deep hurt due to the loss of a loved one which can cause feelings of depression, pain, sorrow, emptiness and loneliness that likely take longer than you would anticipate to overcome.
There is an expected time of grief for such a loss.
As a Christian, the hope we have in Jesus carries us through such time of sorrow and pain (1 Thessalonians 4:13).
According to the American Heritage Dictionary grief is defined as “deep mental anguish, as that arising from bereavement”. The feeling of grief can often be like the feeling of fear. Not all grief is wrong. Jesus manifested grief when He saw how others were grieved over the loss of a loved one (John 11:32-35). Paul wrote of “a continual grief” that he had in his heart (Romans 9:1-2; 10:1).
Having grief and expressing it is an important part of overcoming traumatic experiences such as the loss of a loved one.
Paul and the Ephesian elders expressed their grief as they bid him a sad farewell (Acts 20:36-38).
Grief can become a problem when it makes one useless for any service by sending them
Guidance
When searching for God’s will or direction in your life regarding a decision you are facing or a certain aspect of your life, rest assured that God has a plan and purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11), a master plan. If you seek Him prior to making a decision instead of running ahead without His direction, God will direct your path and meet your needs. The Bible instructs us to seek God in all our ways and not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Anxiety and stress occur when you rely on your individual strength rather than on God and His Word. In most cases, when anxious you allow your human nature to convince or persuade you that God is unable to handle the situation. The Bible instructs us to cast our cares upon Him for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
Scriptural Guidelines
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things
