WE LIVE UNDER AN OPEN HEAVEN
God is not boring. Can you imagine God telling His servant Moses to tell Pharaoh he could be rid of the frogs—but Pharaoh said “tomorrow.”
Who on earth would not want to get rid of frogs that had infiltrated the lands—from their homes, to every place in the land? Can you imagine God sending frogs all over a nation? It was a plague due to Pharaoh refusing to allow the people to leave Egypt. They were held captive in bondage to this leader.
I remember a friend of my sister’s finding a rattlesnake in her washing machine many years ago. When her husband tossed his hunting clothes on the floor, apparently a snake crawled up inside. When she gathered the garments off the floor, what she did not know was that a poisonous snake was hidden within. Only after the cleansing was finished, and she opened the washing machine door—did she see the snake with her eyes. She called her husband and he came and took care of the problem.
As the Bride of Christ—the Church—we must call on our husband—Jesus—to get rid of the evil in this land. We must possess the gates of the enemy through persevering prayer, immediate obedience, and sacrificial giving.
When we commit ourselves to seek the Lord on a daily basis, we will be cleansed and made whole. When we commit ourselves to persevering prayer and sacrificial obedience, we will experience resurrection power here on earth. I witnessed it on a daily basis at Mercy Hospital in 2012—when God raised my husband from the dead, healed him from two strokes, and walked with us through two open-heart surgeries. The Holy Spirit supernaturally led us minute-by-minute. He continues to do so because we look for Him, expect Him, and trust His guidance. I obeyed God and published the full account in my book: A LEAP OF FAITH (25 Days At The Mercy Seat).
Take time to reach Isaiah 64, Exodus 19, and Acts 10:9-16. The heavens are opened because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary. When intercession breaks through, we experience the unexpected. That is a perfect description of revival needed here in America—and across the nations.
The unpredicted and the unusual are characteristic of genuine revival. When God shows up, heaven applauds, and man is on the floor in His Presence. Brokenness is the forgotten factor of prayer.
God doesn’t want anyone to perish. It is His Will that all be saved. In Acts 9:5, Saul had an intense encounter with God that changed his heart, changed his life, brought him to salvation, and the apostolic call of God was released in his life.
We must run the frogs out of America—out of our homes and anything that is not like God—out of our hearts. We live under an OPEN HEAVEN and it is time we bring heaven to earth—for God to deliver a nation again. We have access to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
