I WANT MY GRAPES…THE NEW WINE

While we are moving forward in any new direction, we need to know better roads and ways of making it to our destination. New roads are made, change happens, and unless you update your navigation system, you may be taking old roads.

God wants us to work smarter, not harder.

God has ordered your footsteps. Jeremiah 29:11 declares you have a purpose and it is good… God wants you to be in health and prosper. Prosper means to break out, break forth, and breakthrough.

Any of us can take a wrong step. In my latest book: THE MIDNIGHT HOUR (Will America Turn Back To God?)…I shared the story of being led by the Spirit, being delayed on a trip to Kiawah, and how God ordered our steps to miss a wreck on the highway…and sent us on a different route safely to our destination. We were on I-77 and the navigation system informed us to TURN AROUND.  I called my husband to ask if he needed something and told him what happened and that I sensed the Holy Spirit was warning me through the system to turn back. The trip to Kiawah is straight down 77 to the next interstate, so there was no reason in the natural for the vehicle to turn us around. However, GOD knew the reason. I stopped at a nearby store to pick up something and when walking out the doors, my phone rang. It was my husband asking where I was…and informing me that he had left his keys in the car I was driving. I turned around and met him….and me and Mother continued onward to Kiawah. When we came up on the five car pileup…and eleven miles of stopped traffic, we both knew the Holy Spirit had ordered our steps. I live in awe of the Father’s love and how He sometimes will show us…..the why behind the what….to encourage us.

Much like using the GPS system…which I call God’s Personal System through the Holy Spirit…where we are led by the Spirit of God…we can take a different route to avoid obstacles, avoid wrecks, and stay on track to our destination in peace.

You need the Holy Spirit….to lead, guide, direct, and comfort you. God has equipped you to take uncharted territory…learn to hear Him at the slightest whisper at the door of your heart…and don’t ignore small instructions. The Holy Spirit is the New Wine…the Spirit of God that comforts, guides, leads, directs, and warns us.

Remember the goodness of God and listen to Him for a fresh start…each new morning. He wants you to be like Joshua and Caleb, and go for the grapes in the Promise Land. He has already defeated the giants, we have to go in and take the land.

The Bible declares that if you are led by the Spirit of God, you are a Son of God. He will show you better ways to do life.

The most important thing outside giving your life to Jesus and receiving the gift of salvation is to be made whole. God wants us to remind Him of His Word on a daily basis.…

The word remember doesn’t just mean to recall—it means put together and make whole. Dismember mean to take apart.  Sometimes when things look like they are falling apart, God is putting them back together and making it better.

Pray daily:  I bind myself to the Will of God. God has a great plan for my life. I thank God for wise counsel and great associations. God keeps me in order, on His timing, and in divine position.

God loves you with an everlasting love.

HIS love and Mine,

Deborah Starczewski

"Deborah imparted the tools, skills and understanding I needed to grow in the spirit. In this day's devotional, God also spoke to me of the hard lessons we all need to learn when "He" or your "Mentor" (such as Deborah) in my case, speaks into our life that we must choose to grow...

"...As a result of obedience in the midst of her desert experiences, I believe God has filled Deborah with wisdom that we would all do well to take to heart. Do you ever ask yourself why you seem to end up in the same situation over and over again? Why you fear the future, or are frustrated with relationships?...."
