PRAYING GOD’S WILL

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

Prayer changes everything. While prayer is not demanding things from God, it is also not manipulating Him to do what you want. It is more than simply asking and receiving, although in prayer we do ask and receive.

Prayer is more than a cry for help when in the midst of trouble. It is communion, and sweet conversation between you and your Heavenly Father. Prayer is unlike many of the conversations people have that are superficial and trite, many in text or email, which can be easily misunderstood. Prayer is having a deep and meaningful conversation, which is intensely personal, with our Heavenly Father. It’s a love relationship.

I have come to the conclusion that prayer is more for me than for God. It doesn’t change God’s will but changes mine to line up with His. We can all be stubborn and stiff-necked when it comes to something we think we want that may or may not line up with God’s perfect will for us. As a matter of fact, I don’t want anything God doesn’t want me to have in this life.

Prayer brings our stubborn will, which is part of human nature, into conformity with the Will of God our Heavenly Father. When you and I want what God wants, things start to line up that otherwise would not. When we push and shove to get something we think we want, it creates striving and competition. Competition is not a kingdom value.

“Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14 NKJV). John, who walked with Jesus and was one of the twelve wrote this–and it is still Truth forever.

Jesus taught the disciples to pray, “Give us today our daily bread,” which tells you to pray about the daily needs for your personal life and family. If you have a family member who is not born-again (saved), you can pray in the perfect will of God for his or her conversion. Scripture makes it clear that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (see 2 Peter 3:9).

What about the other crucial times when you simply don’t know how to pray about a situation or what God’s will is in the matter? How do you pray then? The answer is found in Romans 8:26, where Paul addressed this same issue. Thank God.

The Bible reveals…..we do not know what is right to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words, or, The Spirit Himself intercedes for God’s own people in God’s own way. That is great news my friend.

If someone has attacked you personally, pray for God to vindicate you and thank Him in advance. If you don’t know which direction to take with all the transition in life, ask God for wisdom. He will give it to you. Not sure how to pray in some other area? Pray for the will of God, which is to pray in the deepest level of faith.

Ask God for a specific word for your particular situation. He will give it to you. Pray the Scriptures and trust God for the outcome. Obey what He puts in your heart to do immediately.

Time and time again, I have personally learned that you can trust God to provide and answer in His own way. His way is always far better than our own. Don’t try to figure everything out and get into reasoning. Choose to trust God today.

God is always willing to help. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:1). No matter what you are walking through right now, God is with you and He cares for you. Turn to Him in prayer and ask Him to help you.

Prayer empowers us to overcome our stubborn refusal to let Him work His will in our lives as His children. Don’t be stubborn..simply obey what God has put in your heart to do. If you have veered off the path and made a wrong turn, it’s not too late to turn back in repentance and obedience. Let’s pray the same for America–”God, turn America back to You in repentance”.

PRAYER TIME AND REFLECTION: A good chapter to pray from the Bible is Psalm 138. God promises to perfect all that pertains to us as His children. Praise the Lord and declare His word over your life and circumstances.

When you wake up in the morning, pray Psalm 138. Pray it again at noonday, and before you go to sleep at night. Thank God for the Blood of Jesus that covers your life, your family, and friends. Ask Him to direct your day. At the end of the day, ask God to forgive you for any wrong thoughts, deeds, or actions that were not pleasing to Him. Keep short accounts and live like Jesus may come today—plan like you may live for another decade to leave a legacy of knowing God.

Jesus loves you.

DESPERATE TIMES OPEN DOORS!

Desperate times open doors to share the love of God. Right in the midst of chaos and turmoil in America and across the nations, you can choose the ancient wisdom found in God’s Word to launch and live your dreams. Yes, you can. You can choose to honor God continuously, discern God’s will on a daily basis, and shine the light into the darkness to give others hope.

When we come into alignment with God’s will, He connects us with divine associations for our next assignment that opens double doors to advancing His Kingdom.

The bottom line is this: God’s perfect will is that none should perish—He wants you to receive the gift of salvation through accepting Jesus Christ, repent and turn toward Him with your whole heart and mind. (John 3:16) ….it’s all about Jesus and souls.

He wants you to live right—through studying the principles and promises found in the Bible, and apply them to your everyday life.

He wants you to advance His Kingdom here on earth. I believe everyone has been called to be a minister, cleverly disguised in whatever sphere of life we find ourselves. From the workplace, to the grocery stores, hospitals to medical offices—from the Church to the fields.

God wants you to be in good health and to prosper you so you can leave a legacy and bless others. (3 John 2)

You can launch out into the deep things of God by seeking His Kingdom. You will find that when you seek God with your whole heart, your life comes into alignment with God’s perfect will for your life.

This doesn’t mean distractions won’t come—but you decide to push through them into action. Don’t be moved by the enemy’s schemes or tactics…Satan never attacks a retreating army. Keep moving forward with faith in God.

Be careful not to pass over God’s divine connections and associations due to judging from the outside. God sees the heart, man looks on the outside. You won’t know someone’s heart until you take the time to get know them. Divine associations bring divine assignments where we partner together with others to bring in the End Time Harvest of souls.

Dare to dream big, live life as though Jesus may come before you go to sleep and plan to point others to Jesus like their lives depend on it—because they do. People are desperate for Jesus. Many feel like an orphan and need to know and experience the love of God. Choose to be His hands and feet in the earth to all.

Eternity matters. People matter. Desperate times open doors to share the love of Jesus Christ. Love God, love people, and pass it on.

WHAT TO DO WITH ANGER? RESPOND OR REACT

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

IMG9556851_edit copyThe Bible says, “Be angry, and sin not.” Righteous anger comes when we see or experience injustice, unrighteousness, or unfairness.

The Bible also warns us that the anger of mankind does not accomplish the righteousness of God. Spewing anger that turns to rage, venting venomous poison toward others, and anger-driven acts of violence are not the ways to bring change. We need God’s help to live according to His ways here on earth. Addressing issues according to God’s ways gets His attention and His help.

Instead of reacting, we must choose to unite our efforts through prayer, unity, in agreement with God’s ways, and according to His principles of righteousness (which are peace and love) and find real solutions to real problems.

The Bible also warns us that a house divided will not stand. We live in a society that is more divided than I have ever seen it. People get angry over the smallest things, blow off steam if you stop at a stop sign and they are behind you, and are distracted over many things.

The enemy sends distractions in all kinds of ways to divert the attention of the American people from what is really going on, to creating distractions in the family to bring division and discord. You must choose to take a stand against it. You can go out of your way to be nice to people and choose, on purpose, to talk to people and engage in conversation.

When entering a restaurant, you can choose to treat everyone with the utmost respect, from the hostess to the server. I pay great attention to how people treat servers. When anyone thinks less of someone based on what they do, they have a heart problem and it is a form of pride.

On the other side, if you choose to elevate people over God, you have become a people pleaser, not a God-pleaser. What comes next is the pursuit of power, prestige, position, possessions, to running over people to attain them.

People matter to God and they must to you. All lives matter. We have the most amazing opportunity to run to our Father God, climb up in His lap, and allow Him to carry us over the wind and waves of life—-where we can see from His perspective.

If you choose to engage in the war that you see around you, rather than doing real warfare in the spiritual realm, you will experience defeat. Start talking to God about the problems and listen for His response. Talk to people about God. Climb up higher through deepening your relationship with Him.

Let’s run to the feet of Jesus together and pour out our hearts to Him on behalf of all people, turn to Him in repentance for this nation turning away from Him, and cry out to Him for revival for all mankind. God sees everything and I believe the Holy Spirit is grieved over this nation.

We can pray now, gather in homes for prayer together, and realize that prayer is the most powerful weapon we have from God. There is no time like the present to start. See what happens when anyone turns around in obedience to God.

About twenty years ago, after having my car cleaned at a local auto/service business, the owner’s brother asked me if I would pray about a situation for him. I told him I would remember it in prayer. As soon as I drove away, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, “There is no time like the present.” I immediately turned around and went back to pray specifically with that young man on the spot. Tears began rolling down his face and I will never forget what he said to me, nor will I forget seeing his eyes filled with tears and so were mine. He said, “You will never know how much it means to me for you to come back and pray with me. A divine opportunity almost missed. Thank God for the Holy Spirit who speaks to us, reveals all hidden truth, and show us things to come. I have learned I am never to busy to stop and pray. I believe if I am not willing to stop for one, I am not fit to stand before any.

God spoke a scripture to me as I was driving back home. It was Matthew 10:29. When I got home, I read the verse and the remainder of the passage.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?” “Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

Take time to read Matthew 10:29 though the end of the chapter. I believe in God who can do miracles. I have witnessed them myself—in my life and the lives of others. Dare to believe God today for your family, friends and America. If God will do this for one, He will heal America if we will return to Him in genuine repentance.

Lord, I pray that revival will sweep across this nation and across the globe in the heart of all mankind.
