AROUND THE TABLE

Written by Deborah. Posted in Uncategorized

Every day around a table someone is fighting for their life with cancer or some other sickness, someone is walking in a stormy relationship or season of struggling, from grief to emotional struggles, raising kids, having kids, getting married, getting divorced, losing a spouse or loved one to death, sitting by the bedside in a hospital or waiting room longing for the doctor to come out with the news. Losing a job or a career change to a phone call with a bad report. Some people are living their best life in college or a new career and waiting for the sun to rise each new day.

Every day we wait and wrestle with daily life. From replacing lightbulbs and life maintenance for all—to widows and singles and aged care providers to teens struggling with life. Be kind and be part of the answer. Love people right where they are in life and ask God for wisdom to minister to people.

Ministering to people may simply be listening to hear, not listening to respond or repeat a conversation. While listening, God can give a simple word of wisdom, or one word of encouragement that can change the course of someone’s life. Live to know God and make Him known. Tell the world about Jesus—He is coming back soon!

God loves you!

His love and mine,

DEBORAH

"...As a result of obedience in the midst of her desert experiences, I believe God has filled Deborah with wisdom that we would all do well to take to heart. Do you ever ask yourself why you seem to end up in the same situation over and over again? Why you fear the future, or are frustrated with relationships?...."
